🎭 We were delighted to welcome the Sunshine Coast Driftwood Players’ Story Theatre to Silverstone Care Centre!

The talented performers brought their lively, community-focused theatre program to our residents, filling the afternoon with wonderful storytelling, laughter, and entertainment. Inspired by travelling theatre troupes, their engaging performance uses minimal staging to bring stories to life for audiences of all ages.

🚗🎉 What an Incredible Day at Silverstone Care Centre! 🎉🚗

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Annual Car Show such a wonderful success for the residents of Silverstone Care Centre and the broader Sechelt community.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Blue Western Group, Farm Ventures Petting Zoo, the Sechelt Fire Department, the Coasters Car Club, the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary, Mayor John Henderson, and our amazing volunteers for their generous support, participation, and community spirit. Your contributions helped create an afternoon filled with smiles, memories, and meaningful connections.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful vehicles, visiting with the animals, meeting firefighters, spending time with family and friends, and connecting with community members who came out to support them. Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and supportive community.

A special thank you to our volunteers, whose time, energy, and compassion helped ensure residents could fully participate and enjoy the event. Your dedication makes a meaningful difference every day.

Thank you as well to our families, team members, community partners, and everyone who attended. Together, you helped create a special day that our residents will be talking about for a long time.
