🐾 Why More Pet Owners Are Choosing Trupanion® Pet Insurance 🐾

As pet owners, we never want to be faced with choosing between our pet’s health and the cost of treatment. That's why many families choose Trupanion® to help protect their pets when the unexpected happens.

✅ Coverage for new illnesses and injuries – Including accidents, hereditary conditions, chronic illnesses, surgeries, diagnostic tests, medications, and more.

✅ No annual or lifetime payout limits – Coverage isn't capped each year, helping provide peace of mind if your pet requires ongoing or extensive medical care.

✅ Coverage for hereditary and congenital conditions – Conditions such as hip dysplasia, diabetes, heart disease, and many other unexpected medical issues may be covered if they are not pre-existing.

✅ Freedom to choose your veterinarian – Coverage can be used at any licensed veterinary clinic, emergency hospital, or specialty practice across Canada.

🐾 We’re Here for You — 24/7 with VetWise! 🐾

We’re excited to partner with VetWise to provide our clients with access to veterinary professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whenever our team is unavailable.

📞 Just call our hospital at 506-532-8081 — day or night, whenever you need help or support!

VetWise has a team of Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) answering calls around the clock. During busy periods, your call may initially be answered by Nora, an AI agent, who will gather important information while your call is in the queue for the next available RVT. Nora helps prioritize urgent cases and reduce overall wait times. You can bypass Nora by asking to speak with the VetWise team directly.

The VetWise RVTs can:
🐶🐱 Triage your pet and help determine the appropriate level of care
📅 Book an appointment directly with our hospital if your pet is stable and can safely wait to be seen
🚨 Facilitate an emergency transfer to the Riverview Animal Health Centre if your pet needs urgent care
💻 Connect you with a New Brunswick-licensed veterinarian for a virtual consultation when appropriate, helping support your pet until our team is available to continue their care.

📱 One important note: VetWise is based in Ontario, so if they call you back, the number will have a (647) area code. Don’t be surprised — it’s VetWise!

We’re happy to have VetWise as an additional resource for our clients and our team, helping ensure you have access to veterinary support whenever you need it. ❤️

If you have any questions about VetWise or how they help support the care of your pets, please don’t hesitate to ask us!

🕷️🐾 **Fleas & ticks are out in New Brunswick!** 🐾🕷️

As the weather warms up, our pets are spending more time exploring yards, trails, fields, and wooded areas — where ticks can be waiting! 🌲

Blacklegged ticks (deer ticks) are found throughout New Brunswick and can transmit Lyme disease. Ticks can also hide in small areas like around the ears, between the toes, and under collars.

Fleas are another common problem and can cause itching, skin irritation, and allergic reactions. 🦟

🐶 **Simparica Trio** helps protect dogs against fleas, ticks, heartworm disease, and several intestinal parasites.

🐱 **Revolution Plus** helps protect cats against fleas, ticks, ear mites, heartworm disease, and certain intestinal parasites.

✅ **Protect your pet. Check for ticks. Prevent parasites.**

Talk to our team about the best protection for your pet's lifestyle so they can safely enjoy all that New Brunswick has to offer! 💙🐾
