Is treatment safe after surgery?

Absolutely! But we need more information on our end.

- What was the surgery?
- When was the surgery?
- Are you cleared for regular activity?

In some cases we may have to modify our treatments. Typically, people start to overcompensate in other areas. So even treatment to adjacent areas from the procedure, can help with the recovery process!

This week on commonly asked questions at the clinic: X-rays! When are they indicated?

We do not X-ray every single patient. X-ray exposure should only be used As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).

Indications for X-rays:

- Significant recent trauma.
- Symptoms that are continuing to persist, even after a fair trial of treatment.
- Neurological symptoms that have continued, progressed, or new.

After beginning his training at Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicinein China in 1991, Waldo practiced in a hospital before moving to Canada.
