☀️ I hope everyone is having an amazing summer! ☀️
Summer has a way of filling our calendars with camping trips, vacations, lake days, family time, and all the little adventures that make this season so special.
While you're busy making memories, don't forget to take a few moments to care for the body that's carrying you through it all.
If it's harder to get in for a massage during these busy months, here are a few simple ways to support your body at home:
🌿 Go for a walk to encourage circulation and lymphatic flow.
🌿 Stay hydrated—your muscles and tissues will thank you.
🌿 Spend 5–10 minutes gently stretching areas that feel tight, especially your neck, shoulders, hips, and calves.
🌿 Practice deep breathing to help calm your nervous system.
🌿 Try gentle lymphatic movements like shoulder rolls, ankle pumps, marching in place, or light bouncing on your toes to help reduce feelings of stagnation.
🌿 Take short movement breaks if you're spending long days driving or sitting around the campfire.
Even a few minutes of intentional movement each day can make a big difference in how your body feels.
As summer continues, this is also a friendly reminder to book your massages ahead of time.
My schedule often fills weeks in advance, and pre-booking helps ensure you get the appointment times that work best for you.
Your future self (and your muscles!) will definitely appreciate it.
Enjoy every moment of summer, stay safe, and be kind to your body.
