✨ Meet Hunter - Registered Provisional Psychologist (He/Him) ✨
Performance has been a constant in my life long before becoming a therapist. From coaching kickboxing fighters 🥊 to training alongside competitive rowing teams 🚣, I’ve spent years in environments where pressure, accountability, and precision were expected every day. Those experiences shaped how I understand people — high standards can build confidence and purpose, but without space to slow down, recover, or ask for support, they can also leave us disconnected from ourselves.
That perspective is central to how I approach therapy. My work is collaborative, practical, trauma-informed, and client-centered, focusing on honest conversations that feel useful and grounded in your real life rather than one-size-fits-all advice. I often draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, motivational interviewing, and more depending on what fits you best.
I’m especially passionate about supporting athletes, high-performers, young adults, and 2SLGBTQIA+ clients 🌈 navigating stress, burnout, identity, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine, thoughtful, and empowering — one where you can strengthen your sense of self and build a life that feels sustainable instead of performative ✨
