Today is World First Aid Day.

In an emergency, the person who matters most is often the one already there. A coworker. A bystander. Someone who knows what to do in the first few minutes.

That readiness is learned. AT Safety Training delivers hands-on Canadian Red Cross First Aid, CPR, BLS, and recertification courses across Alberta, taught by instructors who work in the field.

We were named a Top 3 Red Cross Provincial Training Provider in Alberta for three years running. First aid is where much of that training starts.

Turnarounds mean more confined space work. These are tanks, vessels, pits, and restricted access areas that a permit alone does not make safe.

Entrants, attendants, and monitors need to understand atmospheric hazards, gas monitoring, entry procedures, communication, and emergency response before they go in or stand by.

AT Safety Training offers:
Confined Space Level 1, which covers entry, hazard recognition, atmospheric awareness, monitoring, and safe work procedures.
Confined Space Level 1 and 2, which adds basic rescue principles and emergency response awareness.

Available in Sherwood Park, Edmonton West, and Calgary, with individual, group, and on-site options.

Happy Labour Day!

Behind every safe shift is a worker who took the training seriously, spoke up about a hazard, or checked the equipment one more time. Today we recognize the people across Alberta whose skills and judgment keep worksites running.

Our offices are closed today for the holiday and reopen on Tuesday, September 8. Have a safe holiday.

The safest decision an operator makes may happen before the equipment starts.

Inspections, capacity, surroundings and knowing when not to move all matter.

AT Safety provides hands-on Forklift, Telehandler, Skid Steer and Wheel Loader training using real equipment and practical evaluations.

Young workers need more than a reminder to “be careful.”

They need clear training, the confidence to ask questions and the knowledge to recognize hazards and speak up when something is not safe.

This International Youth Day, we’re highlighting the importance of giving young and new workers the right foundation, from WHMIS and First Aid to role-specific training such as Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry.
Give young workers a stronger start.

A smoky forecast can change the job before the shift starts.

When air quality changes, exposure risks and respiratory controls should be reviewed too.

AT Safety provides respiratory safety training and fit testing for individuals and full crews, in-clinic or on-site.
