Meet the Team at Speech Hens: Introducing Lori!

We're excited to shine the spotlight on Lori, one of our incredible Speech-Language Pathologists at Speech Hens!

With an impressive 37 years of experience as an SLP (including 5 years with Speech Hens), Lori brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to every family she works with.

Lori has a special passion for supporting our preschool-aged clients and Autistic children, helping them build communication skills while empowering families along the way.

One of her greatest strengths is helping caregivers navigate the many resources, services, and systems available in our community. She understands that supporting a child often means supporting the entire family, and she is always ready to help families find the information and connections they need.

Whether she's celebrating a child's first words, helping a family advocate for services, or creating engaging therapy sessions, Lori is dedicated to helping children and families thrive.

🌽🍓 FOOD EXPLORATION PROGRAM IS BACK THIS SUMMER! 🥕🐓

We are so excited to bring back our Food Exploration Program this summer at Generations Farm and Marketplace... the only program where learning, play, and food discovery come together on the farm! ☀️🚜

This program is perfect for:
❤️ Picky eaters
❤️ Children with ARFID
❤️ Kids who are hesitant around new foods
❤️ AND kiddos who simply LOVE food and hands-on experiences!

Through guided food exploration, sensory experiences, and farm-based fun, children will have opportunities to:
🌱 Explore foods in a low-pressure environment
🍅 Build confidence around trying and interacting with foods
🐐 Connect food to real-life experiences on the farm
🧺 Learn through play, discovery, and curiosity

💲Cost: $300 (can be put through private insurance or can submit for OAP funding)
*if needing 1:1 support, cost is $350

📆Dates: Tuesdays from July 7- August 11

🕐Times: 11:30-1pm OR 4:30-6pm
