Every January 1st, I set a challenge for myself.
2024: Starting gymnastics with no experience.
2025: expanding my business to be more than just myself. 2026: Learning to sail.
This week was my first lesson on the water.
It's July. And if you made a New Year's resolution back in January, here's what I want to say: you're not behind. Halftime just finished, and we still have time to put points on the board.
I could've shelved this dream another year. Told myself I didn't have time, the business was too demanding, next year for sure. But I learned something over the last six months: there is no tomorrow.
So I made space. And now I'm learning to sail.
Whatever you set out to do in January, whether it's fitness, a skill, a hobby, a creative thing, a business idea. We're in the second half now. You don't have to wait until next January. You don't have to be "caught up" or have it all figured out first.
The reset point isn't January. It's now.
What would you do if you actually made the space for it?
