We’re making our way through the mountains of craft supplies one project at a time! Today’s adventure was all about beads. ✨📿

Residents gathered together to design and create beautiful bracelets for themselves and for their loved ones. From bright and colorful patterns to elegant and simple designs, every bracelet was as unique as the person who made it.

The room was filled with creativity, laughter, and wonderful conversation as everyone enjoyed an afternoon of crafting together.

We can’t wait to see what treasure we discover in our craft mountain next! ❤️

Our Arm Chair Travel adventure took us to the beautiful country of Switzerland! 🇨🇭

Residents enjoyed learning about Switzerland's rich culture, traditional dancing, breathtaking lakes and waterways, and its stunning historic buildings. It was a wonderful afternoon of exploring without ever leaving home!

To top off our journey, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious Swiss cheese fondue paired with Lindt chocolates—the perfect sweet ending to a memorable trip.

🌞⛵ What a wonderful day on the water!

Our Van Horne Manor residents recently had the pleasure of taking a scenic boat cruise through the beautiful Manotick area, thanks to the incredible generosity of Catch a Smile - Friends in Sportfishing.

Residents soaked up the sunshine, enjoyed the beautiful views, shared lots of laughs, and topped off the day with a delicious picnic lunch. It was the perfect opportunity to make new memories, enjoy great company, and experience the beauty of summer together.

A heartfelt thank you to Catch a Smile - Friends in Sportfishing for making this special outing possible. Your kindness and dedication to creating meaningful experiences truly brought smiles to everyone's faces!

Today's refreshing cold plate featured roasted red pepper hummus with fresh vegetables and crackers for dipping, paired with a variety of protein-rich favorites to create a delicious, well-balanced meal. To top it all off, our rich and fully loaded French onion soup was the perfect comforting addition.

🎨💙 Tie-dye fun is underway at Van Horne Manor! Our residents got creative making their very first tie-dye shirts in preparation for our upcoming Spirit Day. For almost everyone, this was a brand-new experience, and there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and colorful creations along the way. We can't wait to show off our one-of-a-kind shirts on Spirit Day! 🌈✨
