I hugged myself night in bed last night, while talking in the third person…‘You’re okay, it’ll be okay, don’t be afraid.’ I was in a mental loop of turmoil, a fear had once again revealed itself.

Living in a state of fear is unacceptable to me, and it’s something I have to take ownership of, to work on, and resolve.

Sometimes I need the help, to draw myself out of that state of fear… of the unknown… and recognize that the fear is an opportunity.

The third person perspective I call my higher self, is ever present, a calm center, and a place of stillness and objectivity.

Rethinking the fear objectively provides a higher and broader perspective.

What is the fear?
Why is it happening?
Who is it with?
These are all keys to insight.

I’ve coached myself many times with greater amounts of success as I become more able to see from a higher state of calm. This state of presence allows me to see the fears as lessons to be learned, with the courage, calm and compassion of a practical approach to having difficult conversations. There is no choice really to having these conversations if I want to resolve something within myself. It is thru practice, perspective and patience that I am becoming aware of my true self, and honouring the life lessons I came here to learn. I choose to live and love life fully from a place of authenticity.

“pay attention to our dreams”

March 8th, 2024 – Mercury Conjunct Neptune

On March 8th, 2024, Mercury is conjunct Neptune at 27° Pisces. If you’re into astrology and the healing arts, you probably hear it all the time “pay attention to our dreams”.

Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces is THE “pay attention to your dreams” transit, so even if you’ve heard it one thousand times before, you really want to pay attention to your dreams now.

Mercury is our personal ‘translator’, and Neptune is our unconscious, so when Mercury is conjunct Neptune – especially in Neptune’s home sign, Pisces – we have a unique opportunity to access our unconscious and make sense of some important messages that we may overlook, or find confusing otherwise.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu

In times of great change and global uncertainty, we are sometimes at a loss to find stability and peace within. Yet, we are supported endlessly by the wisdom of the ages. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a mantra of power that assists us in our spiritual evolution and acts as a blessing for the world.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a Sanskrit mantra which means:
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

By chanting this mantra, we move from our personal self and radiate a prayer of love for the world around us. It takes us from our (the egoic, little self, and its) limited world view, and radiates from us global wellbeing. It is a reminder we are a part of the universe and can positively impact all of creation.
