What's actually included in the Metabolic Balance Program?

βœ”οΈ One-on-one sessions built around your body, not a template
βœ”οΈ A phased protocol β€” blood sugar, gut health, then metabolic resilience
βœ”οΈ Ongoing support between sessions, so you're never guessing
βœ”οΈ A whole-foods approach β€” no extreme restriction, no gimmicks

Six months is enough time to make change that actually lasts, instead of one more thing that unravels the moment life gets busy.

Spots are open now. Comment "BALANCE" or send a message to learn more. [email protected]

😩 Let's bust a myth I hear constantly: πŸ‘‰πŸ» "You just need to eat less and move more."

If that were true, most of my clients wouldn't be sitting across from me β€” because they've already tried it. Some for years.

Perimenopause changes how your body responds to stress, sleep, food timing, and exercise. "Eat less, move more" doesn't account for hormones, gut health, or blood sugar β€” the very systems driving the symptoms in the first place.

You don't need more willpower. You need a strategy built for what your body is actually going through right now.

BEHIND THE PROGRAM

Ever wonder what actually happens inside the Metabolic Balance Program?

It's not a meal plan you get handed and left to figure out alone. It's six months of one-on-one work, phased so your body isn't overwhelmed all at once:

Phase 1: Stabilize blood sugar and calm the system
Phase 2: Support gut health and hormone clearance
Phase 3: Rebuild metabolic resilience for the long haul

Each phase builds on the last β€” because your body needs sequence, not a shotgun approach.

Client transformation!!!

"I thought I just had to live like this."

That's what one of my Metabolic Balance clients told me at her first session β€” exhausted, frustrated with her weight, and convinced her symptoms were "just perimenopause" she had to push through.

Six months later: steadier energy, clothes fitting differently, and β€” her words β€” "I finally feel like myself again."

This is why I built a six-month program instead of a quick-fix plan. Real hormonal and metabolic shifts take time to unwind β€” and time to rebuild, properly.

Deanna's "why"

A personal share today.

I became a nutritionist because I lost my mom to cancer when I was young. That loss shaped everything about how I show up for my clients now β€” because I know, firsthand, how much prevention and honest lifestyle change matter, and how little most of us are taught about either.

I don't do quick fixes. I don't do fear-based health advice. I do the slow, steady, sustainable work of helping women feel strong in their bodies β€” because I know what's at stake when we don't.

That's the heart behind everything I offer, including the Metabolic Balance Program.

"Why fad diets stop working after 40"

If a diet worked beautifully in your 30s and suddenly feels impossible in your 40s or 50s, you're not doing it wrong. Your body changed the rules.

Restrictive, low-calorie approaches can actually backfire in perimenopause β€” they add stress to a system that's already adjusting to hormonal shifts, which can worsen sleep, mood, and yes, even weight.

What works instead? Consistent nourishment, blood sugar stability, and supporting the gut and liver so hormones can do their job. Less restriction, more strategy.

"The 3 systems I always look at together"

When a client comes to me feeling exhausted, foggy, and frustrated with her weight, I don't look at one thing. I look at three, together:

πŸ”₯ Metabolism β€” is she getting the right fuel at the right times?
🦠 Gut health β€” can her body actually clear and process hormones properly?
βš–οΈ Blood sugar β€” is she running on spikes and crashes, or steady energy?

These three are so tangled together that fixing one without the others rarely sticks. That's the whole foundation of how I work with women in perimenopause and beyond.

"Blood sugar: the metaphor that changes everything"

I tell my clients to picture blood sugar like a campfire, not a light switch.

A light switch is on or off, all or nothing β€” that's how most of us were taught to think about "good" and "bad" foods. But a campfire needs steady tending: the right fuel, added at the right pace, to keep an even burn all day.

When blood sugar spikes and crashes over and over, it drives cravings, energy dips, and β€” especially in perimenopause β€” makes it much harder for the body to let go of stored fat.

Small, steady changes to how you eat (not just what) make a bigger difference than most people expect.

"The gut-hormone connection, explained simply"

Your gut and your hormones are in constant conversation β€” and in perimenopause, that conversation gets a lot louder.

Here's the simple version: your gut microbiome helps process and clear estrogen. When gut health is off, hormones can recirculate instead of leaving the body the way they're supposed to β€” which can show up as bloating, mood swings, stubborn weight, and blood sugar that feels unpredictable.

It's not "just aging." It's a system that needs support, not willpower.

This is exactly why I never look at metabolism, hormones, or gut health in isolation with my clients β€” they're one system, not three.
