The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that stabilize your shoulder joint. Tears or degeneration can lead to pain, weakness, and limited range of motion, but the shoulder is complex, and many other conditions can contribute to discomfort or dysfunction. That’s why it’s important to get a proper diagnosis before beginning treatment.
Chiropractic care focuses on assessing joint mechanics, muscle imbalances, and postural factors, and research shows that interventions like spinal and shoulder joint mobilizations, combined with targeted strengthening exercises, can improve function and reduce pain—even in partial rotator cuff tears.
When booking a shoulder assessment in our office, we recommend scheduling a 30-minute appointment. This allows enough time to go over stretches, muscle work, and a comprehensive care plan. Shorter appointments often don’t give us the time needed to fully address the complexities of the shoulder.
