Today is a very hard day. I lost my big brother, Tim.
He was tough on the outside and a gentle soul on the inside. He loved to make people laugh, would help anyone in need, and had more lives than anyone I know. Diabetes, kidney cancer, countless close calls — and he never complained. He always found a way through.
Friday God called him home.
We were blessed to have so many beautiful days with him in these last few years — Christmases, birthdays, endless laughter. He found his way back to himself. His heart was full. His faith was renewed. What a gift that was.
He traveled, he told stories, he surrounded himself with people who loved him. And he had his precious Duke — his loyal companion and hero more than once. Duke is with us now, giving comfort and Tim hugs when we need them most.
If you are hearing this news here, we are sorry we couldn’t tell you personally. Please know you mattered to him. He loved deeply and cared about each of you.
Tim was my brother — my friend. We talked often, hugged tight, laughed and cried together. Now he is with our Dad, and I have no doubt they are already telling jokes together. He is in God’s arms, pain free.
Rest easy, my sweet brother. We will take care of those you love. I miss you so. ❤️
