It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, Michael "Mike" Quinn, who passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Mike had recently celebrated his 60th birthday. Though our hearts are shattered, we find comfort in believing he was welcomed with open arms by his mother, father, sister, Granny, and Bomb, all waiting to give him the biggest hug.

Mike leaves behind the love of his life and devoted wife, Anne, whom he shared many wonderful years with. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and memories that will never fade.

He was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Hailie Quinn and Ashley Quinn, and his son, Bryan Quinn. No matter what life brought — good or bad — Mike always stood behind his children. His love was unconditional, his support unwavering, and his loyalty unmatched.

His grandchildren were truly the light of his life. Ryhder, Merissa-Lynn, Charlie, C.J., Paige and Kaesen brought him endless joy, and nothing made him happier than spending time with them.

He loved his two dogs and rarely left the house without them, Porsha and Princess.

Mike also leaves behind many loved nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom meant so much to him and shared countless memories, laughs, and stories throughout the years.

Mike loved the simple things that made life exciting — working on cars, bass fishing in Economy with family and friends, blasting AC/DC, and satisfying his need for speed. He was known for burning tires, making people laugh, and turning even snowstorm school pickups into unforgettable memories by doing donuts in the parking lot just to see his kids smile.

Mike had a larger-than-life personality, a funny and fun-loving spirit, and an attitude everyone knew well: "It’s right because Mike said so." Anyone lucky enough to know him knows just how deeply he will be missed.

To Anne, his partner through it all — we know life will never be the same without him. Mike, please keep watching over Mom and guiding her through this life without you. You were all she has ever known, and your love for each other was something truly special.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, NS, (902-597-2361). Cremation has taken place.

We are going to miss you more than words could ever say. Your laughter, your stories, your stubbornness, your love, and your presence will live on in all of us forever.

We had 35 wonderful years I will cherish forever. Love you always. You will forever be missed, but neer forgotten.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to Mike’s family by visiting the online memorial at www.brownsfuneralhome.com or through the A H Brown Funeral Home page.
