🚧 More construction updates! King Street will be fully closed again for most of this month. Please give yourself extra time to make it to your appointments, and use Calahoo or Century Roads to access Grove Drive if you're coming to see us from Highway 16A! 🚧
October 8 update: The King Street road closure has been delayed and will now take effect Tuesday, Oct. 13.

🚧 A quick reminder for your commute!
We’re getting close to wrapping up construction on King Street for the season, but there’s one last temporary road closure to be aware of, as we continue replacement of underground watermains.
➡️ King Street will be closed to north-south traffic from Church Road to First Avenue starting tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 7) until the end of the month. Sidewalks and crosswalks may be temporarily closed or detoured.
➡️ The McLeod Avenue intersection will stay open to east-west traffic for a couple of weeks, then close around October 20 while crews finish the final connections.
➡️ The First Avenue/King Street intersection will remain open as long as possible but will close part way through the month as work progresses near the intersection.
We understand this may be a disruption to your usual routine, and we appreciate your patience while this work is underway. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes during construction. Access to nearby businesses may be impacted at times, but we’ll make every effort to keep it available throughout the project.
We'll keep sharing King Street construction updates on social media and sprucegrove.org. Thanks for your patience!
