Hearts Ease Triplet - Nourishment and Nurturing for Mind, Body and Spirit. Luxuriate in sweet self care with these three specialty Wild Rose products.

Wild Rose Hydrosol nourishes all skin types, having many healing benefits and uses. It is delicate and gentle on the skin and may be used as a facial mist, linen spray, compress or sitz bath, as well as to make creams, for applying clay masks, and much more. It is very cooling and soothing for redness and overheated skin. The aroma of Wild Rose reminds me of honey and very slightly of lemon, fresh, subtle, and sweet. I love misting my Wild Rose Hydrosol on my face in the morning and evening before applying my cream moisturizer.

Wild Rose Salve is a sacred and nourishing, lightly scented, rose anointment that is used topically to moisturize dry mature skin on the hands and body. It may also be used on the face. It is lovely as a gift for anyone who loves the subtle aroma of rose in a salve moisturizer.

Wild Rose Elixir is a topical roll-on perfume, and may be used to anoint chakra points on the body, on the wrists and behind the ears as well. Both Eliixir and Salve contain pure rose essential oil (Rose otto) as well as rose quartz crystals imbued with a heart healing blessing.

The Aromatherapy Blending Workshop was a lovely experience. Heidi is incredibly knowledgeable and so helpful, making the learning feel both accessible and inspiring. Are you looking for a multi purpose addition to your First Aid Kit? Look no further than Yarrow Hydrosol.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a bitter, pungent tonic and a wound healer, it is a circulatory stimulant and an astringent. It is a paradoxical herb with a wide list of herbal actions benefitting all skin types and is especially effective for oily/acne prone skin.

I love to use Yarrow Hydrosol as an antiseptic for the skin. The last time I used Yarrow Hydrosol was when my dog scratched the top of my foot with her claw, and so I immediately sprayed Yarrow Hydrosol to clean and disinfect the scratch, to bring down the swelling and redness.

I use it to clean inside my dogs ears, or if I am getting a sore throat, I will spray it directly in my mouth, and it works very well for bleeding gums.

The paradox of Yarrow is that it is both a circulatory stimulant and a styptic. How does something stop bleeding but also increase circulation? Due to it’s pungency, Yarrow brings blood to the surface to stimulate sweating during a fever, opening channels of elimination to clean and move the blood. Yarrow is known as ‘Master of the Blood', by renowned Herbalist Matthew Wood, mostly because of its alterative action to 'alter the condition of the blood’. It has a tonifying (astringent) effect on tissues that are lax and loose and in need of tightening. Yarrow is also vulnerary, which means it helps wounds to heal by cleansing, disinfecting and also helping to move circulation. It is very efficient for bringing on me**es, due to it's pungent nature which helps to stimulate the circulation of blood, relieving stagnation, while draining fluids down and out.

Besides Yarrow being used for many different types of inflammations, wounds and burns, the aromatic oils have antimicrobial and antifungal properties, which make it very useful for infections.

🦺Safety: It is generally recommended to avoid the internal use of Yarrow (tea and hydrosol) during pregnancy as it can cause uterine contractions.

Today is the day. 🌸
It is truly a lot about timing.
So deeply grateful for the roses that presented themselves to me yesterday on my way home from my road trip and then today on the traditional unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh Nation. Special thanks to Shirley Lewis who invited me to her home to harvest from her wild rose bushes.🌸 Wild Rose Hydrosol is being distilled as we speak.
