Ma*****na Addiction Support NL (MASNL) is a new peer-support group that is being developed for anyone who has been negatively impacted by ma*****na use — whether directly or indirectly. It’s a safe space to talk about:
✨ Ma*****na dependency
✨ Difficulty cutting back
✨ Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS)
✨ Mental health impacts related to ma*****na use
✨ Supporting a loved one with ma*****na addiction
📍 First Meeting:
The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road, St. John’s
📅 Sunday, September 21st
🕡 6:30–7:30pm
The group will meet bi-weekly starting on the above noted time and date, with province-wide Zoom access coming soon for anyone outside St. John’s. There are no charges associated with the group and no registration required, come as you are! This is an open group that will meet at the same time and place on a bi-weekly basis as noted above. Meeting times and online access will be added as the group develops, based on the needs of the participants. Those participating will be required to sign a simple and short confidentiality/liability waiver for The Lantern. You may use your first name and last initial for this as the group is based on anonymity and confidentiality.
