This one feels extra special. Paula has been following the ICEAVIK journey from the very beginning, almost five years ago, when this was still just an idea and a dream.

Now, as we get closer to finally opening our doors, we are so excited to officially welcome Paula as a Founders Circle Member and have her as part of ICEAVIK for the next 15 years!

We asked our ICEAVIK fans to help us create a signature cocktail, and you came through with some amazing ideas! We’ve narrowed the submissions down to three finalists, and now we need your help choosing the winner.

#1 THE ICEAVIK PLUNGE❄️
Muddled Newfoundland blueberry, NL Distillery Co aquavit, spruce tip & rosemary syrup, lemon, sparkling iceberg water, cucumber and rosemary garnish.
The drink should be almost crystal-clear with a very pale blue/purple tint. Serve it over one oversized ice cube and garnish with a cucumber ribbon and sprig of rosemary.

#2 Boreal Bliss 🌲
1 1/2 oz gin
3/4 oz blueberry or cloudberry liqueur
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz pine needle syrup
2 oz soda water
2 dashes orange bitters
Ice

#3 The IceAvick Aurora
1½ oz vodka
¾ oz elderflower liqueur
1 oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz honey syrup
2 oz sparkling water
A few blueberries
Garnish with rosemary and a lemon twist
Serve over ice in a chilled glass

Why the September 30 deadline?

Our Founders Circle members will have their names displayed on the Founders Circle Wall at Iceavik, and we need to finalize the names by September 30 so the wall can be completed in time for opening.

Maintenance & Facilities – Iceavik Nordic Wellness Spa

Iceavik is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance & Facilities team member to help keep our Nordic spa running safely and smoothly.

Responsibilities include general building and grounds maintenance, checking and maintaining pool chemistry levels, basic pool and equipment checks, maintaining fires and sauna wood, minor repairs, and day-to-day property upkeep.

We’re looking for someone dependable, practical, comfortable working independently, and willing to work indoors and outdoors year-round. Experience in building maintenance, mechanical systems, pools, landscaping, or a similar role is an asset but not required.

What We Offer:
• $22–$30/hour depending on experience and training
• Medical benefits
• Semi-annual footwear allowance
• Complimentary spa access or spa passes
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training provided
