Primary hyperhidrosis is characterized by excessive sweating beyond what the body needs for normal temperature regulation. It commonly affects the underarms, palms, soles of the feet, and sometimes the face or scalp…and can significantly impact confidence, clothing choices, work, and everyday life.

At Rockwater Aesthetics, we offer neuromodulator treatment for appropriate patients experiencing excessive sweating.

How does it work?

Small amounts of neurotoxin are strategically injected into the treatment area, temporarily blocking the nerve signals that activate the sweat glands, resulting in a significant reduction in sweating.

Because hyperhidrosis is a recognized medical condition, some insurance providers offer coverage for the medication used in treatment. Coverage varies by individual plan and may require specific documentation or prior authorization (which our Nurse Practitioner is happy to help with), so we recommend checking directly with your insurance provider.
