Just like dogs, cats cannot sweat effectively enough to cool their bodies down and are more susceptible to overheating. Take a look at some of the common signs your cat may be suffering from heatstroke. If you think your cat is suffering from heatstroke, call their veterinarian or your nearest veterinary emergency hospital right away.

West Coast Vet Services is pleased to announce that they will be sharing on call services with Animal Health Centre in Corner Brook. If you have an after hours emergency please contact Vet Triage. Vet Triage will assess your pet via video call and if urgent medical attention is needed you will be directed to the hospital on call. There will be no on call coverage on Sunday.
