We’ve met many clients living with symptoms of “Metatarsalgia”

Metatarsalgia is defined as “common condition that causes pain and inflammation in the ball of the foot.” Many feel this pain after standing or walking.

What can cause it?
-Arthritic foot changes
-“Fat pad” deterioration
-High arches
-Weight gain
-Foot deformities
-Trauma such as, poor fitting shoes or a sports injury

Treatment:
-Seeing your doctor for a diagnosis of the cause
-“Ball Cushions”
-Orthotics
-Rest, this will help the injured tissue heal

Sri has officially received a position closer to home and will not be working with us anymore. Though we’re sad to see her go, we’re very excited for the new adventures awaiting her.

Today is Cheryl’s official last day as a nurse and working at Foot Care by Kaitlin. Though she won’t be doing foot care visits, we have no intention of letting her completely leave!
We still plan to have her join lots of the extra activities we do. Education nights, trade fairs, office decorating…

Thank you for all the help you’ve given me over the years nursing mama! We’re stuck together forever now! 😁
