Important Product Update – Baby Bum Balm
At Thistle & Berry Apothecary, your family’s safety is our highest priority. As part of our ongoing review of our product formulations, we have identified that our original Baby Bum Balm contains comfrey leaf, an ingredient that is not recommended for use on children under 3 years of age.
Although the amount used in the balm is very small and there have been no reported concerns with this product, we want to ensure that our products reflect current safety recommendations and are clearly suited for their intended use.
For this reason, we have removed the original Baby Bum Balm from our shelves and are reformulating it using plantain leaf in place of comfrey while keeping the rest of the recipe the same.
