Summertime is the perfect season for BBQs and outdoor gatherings! The BBQ for the residents of Parkview Village was a delightful occasion filled with good food, good friends, and wonderful memories.

The weather couldn’t have been better, with plenty of sunshine and a warm, gentle breeze creating the perfect setting for everyone to relax, socialize, and enjoy the day together. It was a wonderful opportunity for neighbours to come together, share some laughs, and celebrate the joys of summer and community.

A Beautiful Day in Prince Edward County!

Yesterday, Parkview Village embarked on a wonderful adventure through Prince Edward County!

Our journey began at the Prince Edward County Lavender Farm, where we learned about the lavender-growing process, from harvesting to distilling the fragrant oil. We also enjoyed some delicious homemade lavender lemonade!

We then travelled to The Knoll Restaurant & Waterside Patio, part of the Isaiah Tubbs Resort, for a delicious lunch overlooking the beautiful surroundings.

After lunch, we explored the unique shops of Bloomfield before concluding our day at Sandbanks Winery.

With beautiful weather, wonderful experiences, and great company, it was a truly memorable day. The joy of travelling and exploring together as a Parkview community was felt by all!

🎶 Bridging Generations Through Music! 🎶

Parkview Village was delighted to welcome Sarah’s Singing Studio for a fun and entertaining performance that truly brought generations together.

These talented children and young adults sang their hearts out, filling the room with joy, energy, and beautiful music. Our audience was thrilled by their wonderful performance and thoroughly enjoyed every moment!

A heartfelt thank you to Sarah’s Singing Studio and all the amazing performers for sharing their talents and creating such a memorable experience for our community.

As Toronto gears up for the 2026 Caribana Carnival celebrations, Parkview Village got into the spirit with its own vibrant Caribana Celebration! Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with a lively live performance, delicious refreshments, and all the sights, sounds, and vibes of the Caribbean. It was a fantastic celebration that brought smiles, music, and community together, and was enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Although our celebration was a couple of days late, Parkview Village still celebrated this marvelous country in style! Residents enjoyed refreshing beverages, delicious strawberry shortcake, music, laughter, and dancing as we came together to celebrate Canada. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with community, joy, and patriotic spirit!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined in the fun, and spent some time with us. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces from our community!

A special thank you to our staff and volunteers who spent their time representing Parkview Services for Seniors, connecting with our community, and creating a fun and welcoming experience for visitors of all ages. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication made the weekend one to remember.
