You don’t know what to say to someone with cancer.

So you say nothing.
Or you say something safe.
Or you assume their doctors have it all covered.

They don’t.

Doctors treat the cancer.
But living… is still up to the person, in spite of the diagnosis.

And that’s the part people are left to figure out alone.

The exhaustion.
The emotional weight.
The food.
The identity shifts.
The day-to-day of trying to hold onto anything
familiar in a world that's turned on its head.

If you love someone going through this,
you don’t need the perfect words.

You just need honest ones.

You can say:

“I know your doctors are focused on the treatment…
but I’ve been thinking about you.
How are you being supported through all of this?”

And if they’re open, you can share this:

“There’s a program created by people who’ve actually walked this path —
it focuses on the emotional side, the food, the day-to-day…
the part no one really talks about.”

It’s called Radiantly Rooted.

Because support shouldn’t stop at treatment.
And no one should have to figure this out alone.

If you’ve been wanting to support someone but didn’t know how…
this is a place to start.

Your doctors have the medicine covered.
You don’t have to think about that part.

But what about you?

After the surgery…
After a part of your body — and your identity — has been taken from you…
Who do you turn to?

When you’re handed a list of foods that don’t look like your culture, your home, your life…
Who helps you make it feel like you again?

When the cancer gets all the attention —
the treatment, the appointments, the fear…

Who is holding you?

The one who still has to live.
The one who still deserves joy.
The one trying to make sense of it all.

Because healing isn’t just physical.
It’s emotional.
It’s personal.
It’s deeply human.

Radiantly Rooted was created for that part of the journey.

A space built by lived experience.
By people who understand — not just clinically, but personally.

To support you.
To guide you.
To remind you that you are not alone in this.

If this resonated with you then join our initiative, www.radiantlyrooted.ca

No one prepares you for this part.

The kind of fatigue that doesn’t go away.
The kind that lingers… long after treatment ends.

So you think:
“I should be better by now.”

And when you’re not…
you blame yourself.

But this isn’t about willpower.

It’s about depletion.
Nutrient depletion.
Nervous system depletion.
Energy system depletion.

And it needs to be rebuilt.

This is what I discovered with my 3 bouts of cancer and recovery.
That’s why I've included it in the work we do in Radiantly Rooted's Cancer Group Support Program.

We don’t push through exhaustion.
We teach you how to restore what’s been lost.

You don’t have to live depleted.
Join Radiantly Rooted and learn how to restore your energy from the inside out.

You are not only healing from treatment.
Your cells are rebuilding your life.

Every bite you take sends information into the body.

Food is not just calories.
It is signals.
It is communication.
It is guidance for your cells about how to repair, restore, and renew.

After cancer treatment, many women are told they are “done.”
But the truth is, the body is only beginning the deeper work of recovery.

This is where Radiantly Rooted comes in.

A space for women to learn how to support their healing through gentle practices, nourishing foods, and a rhythm that helps the body feel safe again.

Because healing is not only about removing disease.
It is about rebuilding vitality.

If you have ever rung the bell and quietly wondered “now what?”
You are not alone.

🌿 Radiantly Rooted is here to walk that path with you.

You’d think food would be one of the first things you’re guided on during a cancer journey…

But for many, it becomes one of the most confusing parts.

Before surgery…
During treatment…
You’re often told: “just eat whatever you can.”

And while that comes from a place of care —
it can leave you feeling lost, unsure, and disconnected from your body.

Because deep down, you’re wondering:
What actually supports me right now?
What helps my body feel stronger… calmer… safer?

Radiantly Rooted was created to hold that space.

To remove the guesswork.
To gently guide you back to foods that support your body — not stress it.
To help you feel grounded in when to eat, what to eat, and why it matters.

Because food isn’t just something to get through.
It’s part of how you come back to yourself.

Join the circle of people who are ready to feel supported, clear, and nourished.
Our next journey begins April 21st. Learn more and sign up here today - https://radiantlyrooted.ca/

When someone is going through cancer treatment, most of the focus is placed on removing the disease from the body.

But healing the body afterwards requires something just as important: stability.

In Ayurveda, the ancient healing system of India, stability is what helps calm Vata — the biological energy that governs the nervous system, movement, and communication throughout the body.

During and after treatment, the body can feel overwhelmed, scattered, and depleted.
Sleep may become irregular. Energy may fluctuate. The mind may feel restless or anxious.

Ayurveda teaches that when the nervous system is under pressure, the body benefits from simple, steady rhythms that help it feel safe again.

This can include:

• warm, nourishing meals that are easy to digest
• consistent daily routines that bring predictability to the body
• gentle movement and rest
• Pranayama (breathing techniques) that calm the nervous system and support oxygen flow throughout the body

These small practices help the body rebuild its internal reserves and restore balance.

At Radiantly Rooted, we focus on supporting the whole person — body, mind, and nervous system — through the many stages of treatment and recovery.

We take the confusion and overwhelm out of the equation so you can focus on supporting yourself at your own pace.

Because healing is not only about removing illness.

It is also about helping the body remember how to feel steady, supported, and strong again.

Healing doesn’t only happen in the hospital.

Doctors play an essential role in removing cancer from the body.
But healing the terrain where cancer once lived… that’s a different conversation.

Ayurveda understands something important:

Your body is not a battlefield.
It’s an ecosystem.

When the terrain becomes inflamed, depleted, and overwhelmed, disease can take hold.

Healing focuses on restoring balance by supporting:

• digestion and assimilation
• the nervous system
• the lymphatic system
• daily rhythm and rest
• whole, living foods

In Ayurveda, this is about strengthening Agni and reducing Ama.

It’s about creating an internal environment where health can thrive again.

Different languages.
Same wisdom.

Healing isn’t only about removing disease.

It’s about remembering how to live in balance again.

Radiantly Rooted exists to support this part of the journey.

If you’re in the “now what?” stage after treatment, this space was created for you. 🌿
