For the record, Erin has not started cancelling your appointments because the gardening weather is too good.

With all jokes aside, we know life happens. Plans change, meetings run long, kids need you, and sometimes the day just gets away from you.

If you can’t make your appointment, just send us a little heads-up when you can. Any notice is always better than no notice, and Erin will happily help you find another time.

And if reminders help keep things on track, we can send your appointment confirmations by text or email. Prefer one over the other? Just let us know.

We’ll keep Erin away from the garden during office hours. Probably.

Acupuncture can look like a lot when you haven’t had it before.

Tiny needles. Maybe a few wires. A machine nearby that suddenly makes the whole thing look much more serious than it feels.

But really, it’s just another tool we may use as part of your care.

Sometimes the goal is to give an area a little more attention, create a local response, and support the work your body is already doing.

And if we add a little stimulation? Same idea.. just with a bit more input.

We’ve had it all done ourselves too, so if you’re wondering what it feels like or what to expect, we can usually give you a pretty good idea.

We’ll always explain what we’re recommending, why we’re recommending it, and how it fits into your care. And if you still have questions, ask away.

A little “when can I find you?” update.

For now, Dr. Tamara is working alongside Dr. Karen during the same office hours; giving her lots of opportunity to settle in, get to know the familiar faces around here, and meet more of you along the way.

She’s also available Saturday mornings, with the exception of long weekends, for a little extra flexibility when weekdays are already full enough.

For our animal chiropractic crew, Dr. Karen’s hours are staying the same. And if those times are tricky, you already know Erin will usually do her best to find a spot that works.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Tamara.

This week, Dr. Tamara officially became part of the Connection Chiropractic crew... and today she celebrates her birthday.
A fun little coincidence, we realized Dr. Karen also started at Connection Chiropractic during the week of her birthday. Maybe it's becoming our lucky tradition.

We love that this new chapter began surrounded by such a warm welcome from our community. Thank you to everyone who has already made Dr. Tamara feel right at home.

Here's to another year of our favourite little whirlwind, making life a whole lot more fun.

She'll never turn down a swim, and believes that if Karen is sitting down, it's the perfect place for a nap.

She's equal parts adventure and affection. Whether she's waiting patiently for "her turn" on the adjustment table, stretched out after a swim, or fast asleep in the office with a snore loud enough for everyone to hear, Pippa has a way of filling every space with life.

Happy 8th Birthday to our wonderfully wild, endlessly loving girl.
