🥈🥳☀️ Our final bocce game against Cedarcroft ended with a 10-6 victory for McCarthy Place!!! While it wasn’t enough to get us the overall title of champions, we are so proud of our residents who showed incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and proved you’re never too old to play on a team!
A huge thank you to Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence for hosting us for the game, and providing a delicious bbq and lunch afterwards. We are grateful to call you our sister home, and look forward to facing off again next year! A huge congratulations to both teams and their dedicated coaches!

🎤🪄ASC Camp Day 2 started with iced lattes and keychain making before our Talent Showcase. In front of a packed house, our dance group (The McCarthy Place Movers & Shakers) began with two seated dance routines! We also were treated to animal impressions by Denise, a mother-daughter dance duo (Mallory & Paisley), the kazoo prodigy (Stephanie), and a dance off by our staff. It was a blast!

🏕️🔥Camp ASC Day 1 recap: We started our day bright and early with a group exercise class and then worked out our problems in our cotton ball smash art class! We enjoyed a delicious camp lunch and then had a friendly axe throwing competition - a favourite activity around here! We watched a beautiful documentary on the Rocky Mountains and are finishing the day off with rocket pop lemonade and camping trivia! We love camp!!
