Aging with Optimism open house hosted by Stratford Lakeside Active Adults Association was a success! We enjoyed seeing current patients and meeting a lot of new people 💙🧡 There was lots of vendors with local programs and activities available, you can be as busy as you like in Stratford! We are honoured to be part of the open house and discuss hearing health with everyone who visited our table 🦻🏼

We have always attended the Spruce Lodge car show, but this year we were IN the show! This is a 1980 Trans Am that Shelly’s son owns (it is a work in progress) but so fun to drive! The car show was well attended and we enjoyed walking around and seeing a ton of people we know and meeting new people 💙🧡

A Heads-Up for Stratford Residents 👋

If you’ve seen ads online promising hearing aids — or hearing aid components — for cheap, here’s something important to know: they aren’t actually selling hearing aids.

In Canada, hearing aids are regulated medical devices. Only a licensed hearing healthcare professional can properly assess your hearing and provide one. What’s typically being sold online is just a basic sound amplifier, not the real thing.
