What a special evening celebrating the incredible career of Dr. Ron Kreuzer.

After decades of dedicated care, mentorship, and commitment to this community, it was so meaningful to come together and recognize the impact he has had on so many lives — patients, colleagues, and friends alike.

Dr. McLellan and Dr. Chan are truly honoured to carry forward Dr. Kreuzer’s legacy. The standard he has set — in patient care, integrity, and relationships — is one we are proud to continue building on for years to come.

Thank you, Dr. Kreuzer, for everything you have given to this profession and to this community. Your legacy is in very good hands.

After many years of caring for our community, Dr. Ron Kreuzer is officially retiring — and we’re coming together to celebrate him this Thursday at Willow Tree Golf Club.

Dr. Kreuzer has been a familiar face to so many families in our area, and this is a chance to thank him for his years of dedication and wish him well in this next chapter.

Dr. Simran Grewal has made a meaningful impact on patients across multiple continents through her dedication to eye care and community service. Originally from Mississauga, she began her academic journey at McMaster University, earning her Bachelor of Science before pursuing optometry training in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Grewal currently serves as the Clinical Director of Special Olympics Canada, where she is a strong advocate for individuals with special needs across both Canada and the United States. Her work reflects a deep commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and patient-centred care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Grewal values an active, wellness-focused lifestyle. An avid traveler and hiker, she embraces fitness and exploration as part of her everyday life. In 2023, she and her husband chose Komoka as their home, motivated by a genuine desire to serve and contribute to the local community.

With a clinical interest in dry eye management and myopia control, Dr. Grewal takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to care. She offers practical guidance on frame selection and contact lens options, always considering each patient’s lifestyle, visual needs, and long-term eye health.
