⚾️ Headed to the Ball Diamonds This Weekend? We’ve Got You Covered! ⚾️

We’re excited to share that Alison, our Physiotherapist, will be on-site at the baseball diamonds Saturday and Sunday during our Annual Hometown Festival!

Whether it’s a rolled ankle, sore shoulder, muscle strain, or another game-day injury, Alison will be available to help assess and manage baseball-related injuries and emergencies throughout the weekend.

The candidate would be responsible for
⚪️ Billing and booking patients
⚪️ Answering phones
⚪️ Greeting patients
⚪️ Cleaning and tidying the office

Mother’s Day feels different when you’re a mom.

I see motherhood differently now — not just in the joyful moments, but in the quiet strength it takes to keep showing up.

I see the moms standing at the front desk, looking at their calendar trying to carve out time for themselves between naps, pickups, meals, childcare and sports schedules…just to deal with their own aches and pains.

I see the moms who almost cancelled because there was always one more thing to do or their day took an unexpected turn… but came anyway.

I see the women carrying grief and loss, navigating a world where reminders of what they’re missing seem to be everywhere — and somehow still finding the strength to show up.

Today, I’m thinking of all of you.

The ones deep in motherhood, the ones longing for it, the ones grieving it, the ones doing their best in seasons no one else can fully see.

Taking time for yourself is never selfish. Showing up for yourself is a kind of strength that deserves to be celebrated, too.

Lauren has been with us for two years now, and is most commonly heard with her catch phrase “sounds good” or translating as she is in the French immersion program. She is behind the desk on Tuesday evenings, and you may just spot her working at the pool this summer also! 🌊

Not only is it National Physiotherapy month, but it also marks 5 years of Alison being apart of our team and serving the Strathroy community! 🏃🏻‍♀️👏🏻

Five years ago, Alison took a leap - leaving a secure position to help build our physiotherapy services from the ground up. What started as a vision, has grown into a thriving physiotherapy program, shaped by her dedication, skills and genuine care for every patient who walks through our doors.

From patients travelling over 40 minutes just to see her, to a full schedule built on trust and results, Alison has truly made her mark in the community. Along the way, she has refined her treatment style, added new techniques, and grown in confidence becoming an integral part of our clinic.

We are so grateful you took that chance with us Alison! Here’s to everything you’ve built and everything still to come! 🤍

Myah has been with us since 2023! She’s wrapping up her time at HCC and will be heading to university in the fall 📚 Myah is the first to ask for more work and is always looking for feedback to improve. From being scared to answer the phone, to three years behind the desk, we are so lucky to have her on our admin team!
