How do you like my workout "at-tire"?😆
Are you...
TIRED of the same, ordinary workouts?
TIRED of not getting better results?
TIRED of making excuses?
TIRED of diets?
TIRED of aches and pains?
TIRED of not being at your best?
TIRED of just being...TIRED? 😄
Maybe it's time for a CHANGE! 😉
TIRE TRAINING can build full-body power, conditioning, grip, legs, back, shoulders, and mental toughness.
TECHNIQUE IS EVERYTHING!
A TIRE FLIP should start with position. Get close to the tire, keep the hips low, brace hard, drive through the legs, and keep the chest strong. The goal is not to curl the tire with the arms. The legs and hips should create the force.
TIRE PUSHES and DRAGS can challenge conditioning and lower-body drive. TIRE STEP-UPS can train each leg independently. TIRE SLAMS add an upper-body and core power element. TIRE JUMPS can develop explosiveness when performed with control and safe landing mechanics.
The biggest mistake is using a tire that is too heavy before the body is ready. If every flip requires a rounded back, twisted position, and desperate effort, the load is not appropriate. Strength training should build the body, not gamble with it.
Rest between sets when needed. Explosive work should stay powerful. If the reps slow down and technique falls apart, the set is done.
TIRE WORKOUTS can be used as a conditioning day, outdoor session, or athletic finisher. They should fit the rest of the week. If heavy leg training was yesterday, an intense tire day may not be the smartest choice.
Progression can come from cleaner flips, more distance, better sp*ed, shorter rest, or a slightly heavier tire once technique is solid.
Getting STRONG is not just about moving heavy things. Move them with control, power, and respect for the standard.
