Dear Patients,

We recognize that the Summerland forest fire has created significant disruption and uncertainty for many members of our community, including those who have had to leave their homes and travel either north toward Kelowna or south toward Penticton.

At this time, Kelly Avenue Medical Clinic is unable to safely accommodate in-person appointments at our Summerland location. For patients who require an in-person assessment, Kelly Avenue physicians will have access to clinical space in Penticton during the upcoming week and will work with you to arrange care there when appropriate. Please call 250-493-7141 extension 223.

We understand, however, that the Highway 97 closure may make travel to Penticton difficult or impossible for some patients. If you require in-person care and cannot safely access the Penticton location, please seek assessment through the emergency department, a walk-in clinic, or an Urgent and Primary Care Centre that is accessible to you.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as our patients, physicians, and clinic staff navigate this challenging situation together. Our priority remains supporting our community and maintaining continuity of your medical care as safely and reliably as possible.

You may have noticed that our building is currently listed for sale, and we want to address this directly.
Kelly Avenue Medical Clinic is not closing. In fact, we are growing! We are planning a move to a larger, upgraded space to better serve you and our expanding patient community.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Residents, Dr. Renouf and Dr. Balestrini!
Starting in July, they will be completing their two year residency at our clinic. Patients of Dr. Hoekstra, Dr. Rau, Dr. Stevens and Dr. Venkataraman will be asked to see the residents when they are working in the clinic alongside their regular physician.
