We are pleased to welcome Gemma Spink, Registered Physiotherapist, to our team at Summerland Physiotherapy!
Gemma has recently returned from the prestigious Oxford University in England with her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy and is accepting new patients. She also has a degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and graduated from high school right here at Summerland Secondary School!

Yes, the rumours are true....Summerland Physiotherapy is moving!
We are excited to announce our brand new location at 13417 Lakeshore Drive right here in Summerland! We will be located in the new Oasis building next to the Summerland Trout Hatchery. We've got a few more months to get things ready down by the lake, so we will be continuing to see patients at our current location. We are so happy to welcome Claude Weichel, Doctor of Chiropractic, to our team at Summerland Physiotherapy!

Claude obtained his degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and has practiced in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. He brings with him a diverse set of skills including joint manipulation/adjustments, as well as many soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release techniques. He utilizes motion palpation assessment, diversified and drop table adjustments, PNF stretching, and specific exercise counselling to help his patients return to normal activities and to reduce spinal dysfunction.

We are pleased to welcome Emilee Dawson to our team at Summerland Physiotherapy!

Emilee is a Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist. As a dual practitioner, Emilee is able to combine her knowledge from both education backgrounds to develop a recovery plan for her patients. Emilee has a desire to see patients learn to move confidently and to aid in their rehabilitation goals. She is also a firm believer in allowing the body to move in order to heal. In a massage with Emilee, you can expect to be moving throughout the whole session, so bring shorts, a T-shirt, and a desire to move well!
