We’re officially home. ❤️🏡🐾
And there really aren’t words big enough for the gratitude I feel saying that.
After an unexpected and challenging chapter, we are back where we belong—with our animals, our familiar things, our own beds, our own little corners of home. There is so much relief in simply being here together.
There is also a lot to do.
The physical work of putting our home back together. Cleaning, sorting, organizing, repairing, and finding our normal again.
And then there’s the energetic side.
Home holds energy. And after everything we’ve experienced, I know there will be some tending to do there, too. Creating spaces that feel peaceful and safe again. Clearing what no longer needs to be carried. Pausing, breathing, reconnecting, and slowly allowing this place to feel like home again.
But I also want to hold this gratitude gently.
Because while we were fortunate enough to return home, there are people in our community who did not. People who have lost homes, belongings, stability, and pieces of their lives that cannot simply be cleaned up or put back in place.
Our relief does not diminish their loss.
If anything, being home has made me feel even more deeply how precious that word really is.
So today, I’m grateful.
Grateful for safety.
Grateful for home.
Grateful for my little family.
Grateful for the people who checked in, supported us, worried with us, and held space for us.
And deeply grateful for the people who are still facing the unimaginable—and for everyone helping them through it.
We’re home. We’re healing. We’re grateful. ❤️
One breath, one room, one moment at a time.
Pause. Breathe. Reconnect. 🌿
