Why do your gums bleed when you floss?
Bleeding is often a sign of inflammation caused by plaque around the gums. With gentle, consistent flossing and brushing, healthy gums usually bleed less over time. If bleeding persists, it’s worth having it checked.

🦷 What’s Really Happening?

Why do your teeth feel fuzzy by the end of the day?
The “fuzzy” feeling is plaque. Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that forms on your teeth throughout the day. Brushing and flossing helps to removes it before it hardens into tartar.
Once the plaque solidifies into tartar, the only way to effectively remove it is to visit your hygienist.

A common myth is that a harder toothbrush cleans better. In reality, a soft, densely packed toothbrush removes plaque just as effectively while being much gentler on your gums and enamel. Good brushing is about technique, not scrubbing harder.
