Struggling with Anxiety? Check in with your Blood Sugar?
I grew up in diet culture
Fat was bad, Calories mattered more than ingredients, and restriction = beauty.
🙇♀️The result of following that narrative? Constant anxiety.
The more I engaged in Yo-Yo dieting, the worse I felt emotionally.
🤔It’s important to understand the body and mind constantly communicate (the Gut Brain axis/ the Enteric Nervous System). Blood-sugar swings, inadequate nutrition, and inflammation may will intensify anxious feelings.
🩸When a blood-sugar dip feels like anxiety.
After a long gap between meals or a meal high in refined carbohydrates, blood sugar may rise and then fall quickly. When it drops, the body can release adrenaline and cortisol to help restore balance.
😓That stress response may feel like:
• Shakiness or a racing heart
• Irritability or sudden worry
• Sweating, weakness, or dizziness
• Difficulty concentrating
• Feeling suddenly overwhelmed or “on edge”

Your brain thrives on steady nourishment. Colorful fruits, vegetables, sprouts, herbs, nuts, seeds, and fermented foods provide fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and plant compounds that support blood-sugar balance, digestion, and the gut–brain connection. All of which influence mood.
Personally, when my vibration dips, I reach for Living Foods.
🍇Living Foods carry vitality, especially fruit. Fruit can feel like a small expression of LIFE FORCE in motion
☀️Sunlight transformed into color, fragrance, sweetness, water, fiber, and nourishment.
Fruit has absorbed light, drawn minerals from the earth, and developed its own vivid character.
This is why incorporating more fresh fruit feels uplifting and enlivening…
Eating something fresh, vibrant, and recently alive may reconnect us with vitality, pleasure, and the rhythms of nature.
