OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY!

At Sisters In Canada Wellness Society, we love sharing opportunities that can help immigrant women and Black professionals grow, upskill, and access new career pathways in Canada.

The Black Women Business Network (BWBN) is currently offering FREE AI training opportunities through the SBCCI AI Upskilling Project for Black professionals in BC, Alberta, and Ontario.

What participants can gain:
✨ Foundational AI skills
✨ Opportunity to join advanced technical bootcamps
✨ Networking opportunities with employers
✨ Career pathways in tech and digital innovation
✨ Valuable digital skills for today’s job market

No prior tech experience is needed, and training is available in English and French.

Victoria Day in Canada is often seen as the unofficial start of summer.

A time when the weather begins to soften, parks feel fuller, and people naturally spend more time outdoors with family and friends.

As a community, we recognize how important this change of season can be especially after long months of routine, work, responsibilities, and constant adjustment.

It’s a timely reminder that rest is also part of wellness❤️

So today, we encourage every sister to take a pause where you can.
Rest. Step outside. Connect with someone you love. Enjoy good food. And allow yourself to simply be present without guilt.

Today, we raised our voices in love and gratitude for the amazing mothers in our community.

Through songs, smiles, and shared moments, we celebrated the women whose love, sacrifices, prayers, and strength continue to shape families and communities every single day.

Just women showing up as they are… and somehow leaving with a little more than they came with.

And maybe that’s what this community is about, having spaces where you can come as you are, and not leave the same.

Starting the day, holding on to that feeling and carrying it into how we show up, connect, and support each other going forward❤️
