At Diane Lee & Associates - Consultants in Physiotherapy we strive to be a center of excellence and our goal is to address the cause of your pain as opposed to merely treating your painful structures. All of the physiotherapists at Diane Lee & Associates are experts in the physical diagnosis of movement impairments and have taken several post-graduate courses in their specialty. They work as a team, frequently consulting with one another to bring you the best care possible. Ultimately, our goal is to help you change the way you use your body by initially creating awareness of the non-optimal movement patterns that currently overload structures and create pain. We will provide you with the tools necessary (knowledge, control, flexibility & strength) to move/exercise in ways that create optimal loading and efficient, pain free movement. 🎉 Happy Birthday to our incredible clinical director, Diane! 🎂❤️

Diane celebrated her birthday in the best way possible, surrounded by family, friends, adventure, and plenty of beautiful memories. From travelling to Whitehorse to celebrate Carol’s retirement after 38 years by her side, to hiking and exploring the beauty of the Yukon, a family reunion at Sheridan Lake, spending time with Hazell and Ayla, and even swimming in the ocean at Furry Creek, it was a birthday filled with so much to celebrate! 🏔️🌊

And perhaps most incredibly, Diane is doing it all just 13 weeks after a total hip replacement! 💪🏼✨

Here’s to another year of adventures, cherished moments, and continuing to do what you love. We’re so lucky to have you leading our team and inspiring us every day!

We’re excited to announce that Diane Lee & Associates now offers direct billing to ICBC for physiotherapy and kinesiology services with no extra fees for select clinicians.

If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, accessing care is easier than ever.

During the first 12 weeks after your accident, ICBC automatically pre-approves:
✔ 25 physiotherapy visits
✔ 12 kinesiology visits

There’s no user fee and no doctor’s referral required. Simply contact our clinic with your ICBC claim number, and we’ll help you get started.

At DLA, recovery is a collaborative process. Our physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and massage therapists work together to understand your unique needs, restore movement, and help you return to the activities that matter most.

Have you been living with pain for months or even years?

Many of the people Cathy works with have already seen multiple healthcare providers before coming to Diane Lee & Associates. Often, it’s not because treatment hasn’t been helpful, it’s because the full picture hasn’t been explored.

A sore back may not be just a sore back. Previous injuries, such as an ankle fracture or whiplash from a car accident, can influence how your body moves and functions years later.

Using the Integrated Systems Model, our physiotherapists take a whole-body approach to understand how different regions may be connected and identify what’s truly driving your symptoms.

Last weekend, our physiotherapist Olivia took on one of the North Shore’s toughest endurance events, the Multi Grouse Grind Challenge. ⛰️💪

Starting at 4:00 AM, Olivia completed the Grouse Grind 15 times in just 18 hours, finishing at 10:00 PM, all while raising funds for North Shore Rescue.

We’re so proud to have such a dedicated and inspiring member of our team. Your determination, resilience, and commitment to giving back to the community embody everything we value.

Not all spinal asymmetries are created equal.

When assessing conditions such as scoliosis and other spinal disorders, it’s important to understand whether the spine’s alignment is being influenced by a structural change or by factors such as muscle tension, joint restriction, and movement patterns.
