If you have trouble squeezing in full workout sessions, try 5 minute micro sessions throughout the day. The 5 moves I've included in this routine will wake up your muscles, boost circulation, get your heart going, and lubricate your stiff joints. Anything is better than zero! If you want a longer plan, you know where to go :)

Gardening season is here, but so are gardening-related aches and pains.

Before you spend the afternoon digging, lifting, and planting, take a few minutes to protect your back. According to BCCA First Vice Chair, Dr. Alfredo Petrone, a few simple habits can help prevent common gardening injuries.

1. Warm up before you start
2. Bend at the hips, not the waist
3. Take a break every 20–30 minutes
4. Switch sides and vary your movements
5. Listen to your body the next day

A little preparation can go a long way in helping you stay active and enjoy your garden all season long!

If you're needing a little extra support, a chiropractor can help you recover from aches and pains and get you back to doing what you love.

🛶 Summer is for making memories, not letting pain hold you back. Whether it’s long road trips, weekend hikes, or juggling the busy schedule of school holidays, osteopathy keeps you moving freely and comfortably.

By focusing on the whole body, osteopathic treatment can help to relieve tension, improve joint mobility, and address the root cause of discomfort.

Here is how osteopathic manual therapy can support your summer:

Relieve Aches: Gentle soft tissue manipulation relaxes tight muscles and reduces inflammation.

Enhance Mobility: Joint mobilization and stretching improve flexibility and range of motion, helping you enjoy summer activities safely.

Support Recovery: Whether you are pushing yourself on a summer fitness routine or recovering from a long flight, osteopathic care promotes healthy circulation and healing.

The main reason patients seek chiropractic care?

There isn’t just one.

Some people are dealing with back or neck pain.

Others are recovering from injuries, managing headaches, experiencing mobility restrictions, or looking for support during pregnancy.

Because every body is different, chiropractors focus on understanding the individual, not just the symptom.

Swipe through to explore some common reasons people choose to consult a chiropractor.

📢 New Research Alert! 😴👣
Can reflexology help improve sleep?
🔬 A randomized controlled trial found that foot reflexology massage using aromatic oils significantly improved sleep quality in individuals with poor sleep. The researchers concluded that this approach shows promise as a safe, cost-effective complementary therapy to support better sleep.

1.5 billion people live with chronic pain. Many can't move freely. Many struggle mentally. And for most, life looks fundamentally different because of it.

Here’s how acupuncture can support those who are suffering and can be the answer to pain management.
