🏃♂️ Ring Relay Race Challenge! 🌈
Therapy doesn’t have to feel like work—sometimes it looks like a fun relay race!
In this activity, children pick up one ring at a time from one cone, run it to another cone, and repeat until all the rings have been moved. While they’re having fun, they’re also developing a wide range of movement skills.
This activity helps build:
⭐ Balance and coordination
⭐ Agility and speed
⭐ Dynamic balance while starting, stopping, and changing direction
⭐ Motor planning
⭐ Body awareness
⭐ Lower body strength
⭐ Cardiovascular endurance
⭐ Focus and following directions
Want to make it even more challenging?
🔹 Hop instead of running.
🔹 Balance on one foot before placing each ring.
🔹 Sort the rings by colour or call out a colour to add a listening component.
🔹 Race against a sibling or parent!
Movement is one of the best ways for children to learn, grow, and gain confidence—and activities like this make it fun every step of the way! 💙
