Before you book a counselling appointment, it’s worth checking what your benefits actually cover.

One detail to look for: Does your plan cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs)?

Coverage can vary between plans, including whether you can direct bill or need to pay for your session and submit your receipt for reimbursement.

If you’re unsure what your benefits mean, our admin team can help with general billing questions and let you know what information we need to check your options.

Save this for the next time you’re checking your benefits. 📌

Questions about billing? Send us a message or reach out to our admin team.

Not clicking with your first therapist doesn’t mean therapy isn’t for you.

Therapy is a relationship, and fit matters. If it doesn’t feel right, you’re allowed to ask questions, speak up, or try someone else.

Not sure your therapist is the right fit? Our team can help you find another counsellor. Reach out to us to explore your options. 🤍

We tend to measure progress by what other people can see.

The promotion.
The weight loss.
The milestone.
The “before and after.”

But in therapy, some of the biggest signs of growth are much quieter.

It’s choosing a different response than you would have six months ago.

It’s noticing a negative thought before believing it.

It’s setting a boundary, asking for help, taking a break, or simply getting through a difficult day.

These moments may not look impressive from the outside, but they often represent the deepest kind of change.

If your progress feels slow, don’t overlook the small shifts. They have a way of becoming the foundation for lasting growth.

💛 Which reminder on this list did you need to hear today?

Fresh air.
a slower pace.
letting your mind soften for a moment.

and also… reaching out for support.

taking care of your mental health can look like both—
what you do for yourself,
and who you let support you.

🌿 what’s one way you’re showing up for yourself this week?

There are things you see clearly now that you couldn’t see before.

Not because you weren’t paying attention.
Not because you “should have known.”
But because you hadn’t lived it yet.

Growth gives you new perspective—and sometimes that perspective comes with a heavy dose of self-blame.

Be gentle with the version of you who was doing their best with the knowledge, capacity, and support they had at the time.

You didn’t know.
And that matters.

If this resonates, take a moment to offer your past self a little compassion today 🤍

What words of encouragement can you give your past self in this moment?
