✨ "I felt tingling during the sound bath. Is that normal?"
Yes! It can be.
This actually came up during a recent private sound bath, and it's something I hear often.
During a sound bath, some people experience tingling in their hands, feet, face, or throughout their body. Others might feel warmth, heaviness, lightness, waves of emotion, or a deep sense of relaxation.
What's happening?
As your body begins to relax, your nervous system shifts into a calmer state. You may also become more aware of sensations that are normally drowned out by the busyness of everyday life.
Because sound travels through the body as vibration, many people can physically feel the frequencies from the bowls, gong, chimes, and other instruments, not just hear them.
Everyone experiences sound differently, and there is no "right" way to receive a sound bath.
You might feel tingling. You might fall asleep. You might see colors or images. Or you might simply enjoy an hour of rest.
Whatever your experience is, it's perfect. 💗
