Our Summer Olympics Challenge is just 10 days away!

Starting Monday, June 15th, join us for a summer of sweat. Between June 15th and September 15th, do 25 classes for a bronze medal, 50 for a silver or 75 for a gold.

And yes, we give you an actual medal.

And yes, it's awesome.

We'll celebrate with a medal ceremony in September and we'll have LOTS of amazing prizes, and if you complete at least 25 classes you have a chance to win.

It's free to register for everyone and online and on demand classes count so here's your chance to make sure you finish this summer with a little more strength and mindfulness than you started with!

Grab a challenge board next time you're in the studio and pop it up in the hall so you're ready to go on Monday June 15th. Can't wait to spend the summer with you!

Our partner challenge ends this Sunday and we're seeing lots of members spend extra time on their mat... which we love!

But we always like to take a moment to remind our community that balance is important. Don't forget to factor in a Yin class or two especially if you've been spending lots of time in more active classes. If you're taking multiple classes in one day, consider approaching one (or both) with different energy. Focus on calm rather than strength, for instance, and see what happens!

Join us for a Summer Solstice Ritual! We are beyond excited to welcome the season with an evening of Kundalini, meditation and sound healing.

The summer solstice is the peak of light and the longest day of the year. At the height of light, we can finally see what has come into full expression.

We’ll guide you through a Kundalini kriya to help you build internal heat and awaken life force energy.

Using embodied journaling we will help you find language to solidify your sensation and what is ready to emerge.

The practice will be wrapped up with a Tibetan singing bowl sound bath where we will hold you in vibration to allow the body to soften and the nervous system to calm.

If you’re looking for an evening of energetic movement combined with the space to soothe and calm your energy and mind, this one’s for you! Lock in our Early Bird pricing of $49 until June 1st. After that, invest with the regular price of $55 or two for $85.

There’s some things that we’ve known for a long, long time - and by “we”, we mean those of us who have practiced yoga and spent time in a yoga community.

Sometimes what we collectively know as a group can’t quite be explained by science... but this is something we’re getting closer to understanding!

If you’re looking for a fascinating study, check out Hatha Yoga and Executive Function: A Systematic Review out of the University of Waterloo. They had test subjects perform some executive function tests after doing meditation, hatha yoga, or a reading exercise.

The groups that did hatha or meditation prior to their executive function test performed significantly better than those that read prior to their test. The study goes on to suggest that meditation and yoga both help you to disregard background information and focus in on something specific with greater ease.

So... if you’re a student or have a student in your life, why not try some yoga? We’re not saying don’t study. We’re just saying that splitting up your study day with a class might mean you end up closer to your study goals than when you started.
