Exciting News, Sylvan Steam & Spa Clients, we’re soft opening! 🧖‍♂️✨

We know it’s been a road, but we are so excited to welcome you back into Sylvan Steam and Spa starting Thursday, September 3rd!

To kick things off, we are doing a soft opening for steams only. Products will be available as soon as our new software system is up and running!

A quick update on our space:

When you come in, you’ll notice that full aesthetic repairs aren't finished yet while we continue navigating our insurance claim. However, safety and quality come first! Our steam boiler, hot water tanks, and equipment are 100% operational and ready to go!

It might not look quite as pretty as usual just yet, but it is fully functional—and we didn't want to keep our amazing community waiting any longer while we get back on our feet.

A quick note on service:

Rick will be running the entire operation solo for now, handling the front desk, answering phones, and keeping the steams sparkling clean. Please give him a little extra grace and patience if things take just a moment longer than usual!

Soft Opening Hours (Starting Sept 3rd):

Tuesday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Monday: Closed (so Dad can get a well deserved day off!)

We look forward to returning to our regular full-time hours in the future.

An Important Update from the Family at Sylvan Steam & Spa🩷

To our valued clients and community,

We want to reach out directly to share an update on where things stand with Sylvan Steam & Spa.

On February 17th, our business experienced a sudden, devastating flood, an unforeseen event that came completely out of nowhere. Since then, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to navigate the situation.

This business was built from the ground up by our family back in 2014. It was my late wife’s heart and soul, and since her passing, our family has poured our time and energy into keeping her legacy alive and serving the Sylvan Lake community we love so much. Because this business means everything to us, it has been deeply heartbreaking to hear false comparisons and rumors circulating about our situation.

We want to be clear: our circumstances are entirely unique to an unforeseen property disaster, and we have every intention of re-opening our doors.

Because we are currently navigating a complex insurance claim, we are legally limited in the specific details we can share publicly at this time. We completely understand that clients have questions regarding active gift cards.

Please know that getting our doors back open and honoring our commitments to you remains our ultimate goal.

To our valued clients, ♥️

We are reaching out today to provide an update on the status of Sylvan Steam & Spa following the severe flooding we experienced.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for our team. The damage to our space was extensive, leaving no room untouched. From the electrical panel and steam boiler to the drywall, flooring, and door frames, the scale of the repairs required is significant.

While we have been working tirelessly to restore the spa, several delays beyond our control have impacted our timeline. Based on the current scope of work, we anticipate a minimum of 6–8 weeks before we can safely reopen our doors to you.

We understand that this extended closure is frustrating, especially for those of you looking forward to your time with us. This is a situation no business wants to face, but we are continuing to persevere and push forward to bring our spa back to life.

We truly appreciate your continued patience and support as we navigate these repairs. We will provide further updates as soon as we have more concrete details regarding our reopening date.
