That sharp pain on your first step out of bed? 👣 You're not alone. Even pros like Brittney Sykes of the Toronto Tempo deal with plantar fasciitis. 🏀

Here's what most people get wrong: it's usually NOT your heel. 👀 It often comes from tight calves and weak foot muscles, and sometimes from old injuries higher up the chain like your back, hip, knee or ankle.

A few things worth trying at home:

🧊 Roll your foot on a frozen water bottle
🦵 Do calf stretches against a wall
👟 Ease off sudden jumps in your training

But here's the honest truth 💬 plantar fasciitis is stubborn, and it usually needs a proper assessment to find the real cause instead of just chasing the symptoms.

That's where the right team comes in 👇 physio, massage, acupuncture and chiro can help you actually get to the root of it.

Still getting chronic headaches? 🤕💥
You've cut the caffeine ☕🚫, You're drinking more water 💧, You've popped the painkillers 💊
But it's still. not. working. 😩
Have you tried acupuncture? 💉⭐
Say hello to Daniel, our new acupuncturist! 👋🙌 He uses thin needles (often nowhere near your head — think hands + feet 🙌🦶) to activate your nerves and release your body's natural painkillers, relaxing the muscles behind your headache.
The results? 📊 In one study, acupuncture cut headache frequency in half for 48% of people — more than 2x the rate of those who didn't try it! 🔥
If nothing else has worked, Daniel might be exactly who you need. 🌟

The pop that stops you dead in your tracks 😳💥

One second you're sprinting, the next you're standing on one leg wondering what just happened to your calf ⚽ Pulisic lived it on the world stage. So did Neymar. And it happens to everyday athletes every single week without a camera in sight 🎥

What makes calf strains so sneaky is how innocent they feel at first — a tightness, a twinge, a "maybe I'll walk it off" moment 🚶 Then day two hits and suddenly stairs are your enemy 😅 The muscle does the work for every single step you take, and when it's torn, your whole movement pattern shifts to compensate 🔁

The players who recover fastest aren't the ones who rested the longest — they're the ones who rehabbed the smartest 🙌💚

Some people train for years to get this good... we just really didn't want to put the ball down 😅⚽

World Cup fever has officially hit and apparently now we're testing our balance instead of our footwork 🙃 Not sure this is what Messi meant by "keepy-uppy" but we're calling it practice. One wrong move and this whole challenge was over 😂 Tag someone who thinks they could beat this record 👇

Let's see how long YOU can hold it. Comment your best time!

Hip pain that shows up during a kick, after sitting too long, or with a deep squat is not something you just play through 🙅‍♀️ FAI (femoroacetabular impingement) is one of the most common hip conditions in soccer players, and it often goes undiagnosed for years because it builds so gradually.

With the World Cup in full swing ⚽🏆, it's worth knowing that the hip demands of soccer, especially during adolescent development, directly shape whether this condition develops. The good news is that most people with FAI improve significantly with physiotherapy, without surgery 💪

If your hip has been talking to you, it might be time to listen 👂

If your groin pain keeps coming back no matter how much you stretch, this is for you. 👇

Your adductors act as the brakes every time you cut, turn, or strike a ball, and they share a small patch of pelvic bone with your abs. When your deep core or pelvis isn't doing its share, the groin picks up the slack and pays the price. That's why stretching can feel good for an hour and change nothing. You're treating the victim, not the cause.

The good news: research found one targeted exercise cut groin problems significantly, but only when the adductor is actually your weak link. A quick assessment can tell you whether it is.

Stretching isn't the fix on its own. Finding why it keeps happening is. 💪

The World Cup is here and so are the injuries that come with it. 🌍⚽
One of the most talked-about right now? Athletic pubalgia, or what most people call a sports hernia. (Spoiler: it's not actually a hernia.)

It's a groin injury caused by the exact things that make soccer so demanding: the explosive kicking, the sharp cuts, the sprinting that never really stops. Elite players push through it all the time. And honestly, that usually just makes it worse.

The tricky part is that it often gets mistaken for a simple groin strain or a tight hip flexor. By the time people figure out what's actually going on, they've been dealing with it for months.

Day two always feels worse than day one, and there's a reason for that. 👇

After 90 minutes, your muscle fibres are full of tiny tears, and the damage actually peaks 24 to 48 hours after you play. Add a second match before you've recovered and injury risk climbs fast. One study of elite players saw injury rates jump six times over when athletes played twice a week.

Pro teams treat recovery like a training session. It's planned, prioritized, and done in a specific order. Most amateur players leave it to "sleep when I can."

If you're playing multiple matches a week, your recovery deserves a plan. That's something we help athletes build every day. 💪

That ache behind your kneecap every time you hit the stairs? Yeah, we need to talk about that 👀🦵

Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome — aka runner's knee — affects up to **1 in 4 active people** 😱 and here's the plot twist: the problem usually isn't your knee at all 🤯 Weak hips and glutes are the culprit for most people, causing the kneecap to track poorly under load 🏃‍♀️

Stairs, squatting, cycling, prolonged sitting — the things that should feel easy suddenly feel like a whole event 😅 But this is one of the most treatable knee conditions out there, and most people improve significantly within 6–12 weeks 🙌💚

Swipe through to learn why it happens, how to spot it, and what actually works 👉✨
