Can you believe this funny tomato had 822 g⁉️ And the taste...that's what makes a huge difference between clean food in season and what you buy in the wintertime in supermarkets. Capturing the “metabolic shift” in midlife is all about rediscovering your energy and vitality. I am so excited to share these new brand visuals for Zoom-In Nutrition! 🍏✨

I want to give a massive shoutout to my photographer, Lisa Lisa Pace .

Lisa is a wonderful person and a true professional. She is warm, explains the entire process with clear detail, and completely adapts to your individual needs and schedule. The entire journey was incredibly interesting to me, from the initial preparation to the photo review afterward, but the photoshoot itself was an absolute highlight.

Lisa made me feel entirely like myself; she embraced my ideas and magically captured the energy and passion I bring to my work. I am extremely happy with how everything turned out, and her communication and flexibility were deeply impressive.

Thank you again, Lisa! You did an amazing job capturing my smile, and I truly appreciate the care and artistry you put into these photos.

To my community: whether we are working to balance your blood sugar, improve cholesterol, or optimize your metabolism, I can’t wait to use these visuals to guide you on your health journey.

Wrapped up a great day at the Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference (CHNC) in Toronto! 🌿
I spent my time at the CAHN-Pro booth with my Board of Directors colleagues, connecting with fellow practitioners and students about elevating our professional standards. It was great catching up with old and new connections and getting inspired by what’s new in the field.
Now, time to recharge and get ready to bring this fresh energy back to my clients at Zoom-in Nutrition. 🔎🍎

Let's learn about some of the hidden treasures in our gardens.
🌿🌱🌿
They can bring lots of nutrients to a salad - my all-time favourite: dandelions.
What's one w**d that you have in your garden and you gave it a try?

CAN YOU SAFELY IDENTIFY AND USE COMMON EDIBLE WEEDS IN YOUR GARDEN?

🌿 What if the “w**ds” you keep pulling are actually free, nutrient-rich food growing right under your feet?
🍃 Many wild plants in your yard are edible, packed with vitamins, and incredibly useful—if you know how to identify them correctly!

Learning to recognize edible w**ds can transform your gardening and reduce waste. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

Step-by-Step Edible W**d Identification Guide:

1️⃣ Start with Proper Identification
Carefully observe leaf shape, stem structure, flower type, and growth pattern. Plants like dandelion, purslane, and chickw**d have distinct visual markers that make them easier to recognize.

2️⃣ Check Key Identification Features
Look for specific traits such as:
• Deeply cut leaves (like dandelion)
• Succulent leaves (like purslane)
• Star-shaped flowers (like chickw**d)
• Parallel veins (like plantain)

3️⃣ Understand Growth Habits
Some edible w**ds grow low to the ground (plantain), while others spread quickly (lambsquarters, amaranth). Recognizing their growth style helps avoid confusion.

4️⃣ Learn Safe Culinary Uses
Many of these plants are highly versatile:
• Add fresh leaves to salads
• Sauté like spinach
• Brew herbal teas (like mullein)
• Use roots or seeds in creative ways

5️⃣ Harvest Responsibly
Only collect plants from clean, chemical-free areas. Avoid roadsides or sprayed lawns to ensure safety.

6️⃣ Always Verify Before Eating
Double-check with a reliable plant guide or expert. Correct identification is essential before consuming any wild plant.

Why Edible W**ds Are Valuable:
✔ Free, natural food source
✔ Rich in vitamins and minerals
✔ Supports sustainable gardening
✔ Reduces unnecessary w**ding

❓ Which of these wild edible plants have you spotted in your garden—and would you try eating them?

📢 Tag a friend who pulls out every “w**d” without knowing this—they might be throwing away free food!

🌿 Stay connected for more healthy garden tips.
