🎓 Starting university this fall?
If you've struggled with schoolwork, needed extra time to complete tests/exams, or found it difficult to be organized, read, write, do math or complete work to fully demonstrate the breadth of your knowledge, accommodations may be available to support your success. However, if you’ve had accommodations in high school, this doesn’t mean you’ll automatically get them at the post-secondary level.

Many colleges, universities, graduate programs, and professional testing organizations require psychoeducational assessments completed within the last 3–5 years. If your assessment is older, you may need updated documentation before accommodations can be approved.

A renewed assessment can help ensure you have the current documentation needed to access supports such as extra time, reduced-distraction testing environments, assistive technology, and other accommodations. It can also help you access OSAP for Students with Disabilities which can provide additional financial grants.

✨ Don't wait until midterms are around the corner—summer is the perfect time to prepare for a successful transition to post-secondary education.

If your child is struggling in school, finding homework overwhelming, or not performing at the level you know they're capable of, there may be underlying factors affecting their learning.

A psychoeducational assessment can help identify:
• Learning disabilities or learning differences
• ADHD and executive functioning challenges
• Cognitive strengths and areas of need
• Giftedness including twice-exceptional (2e) profiles (e.g., gifted and ADHD)
• Recommendations for school accommodations and support
