Honestly⦠community. š¤
When I first started North Star Wellness, I was so intimidated.
Iād look at other businesses and wonder how they got there. They had engaged communities, beautiful offerings, a clear vision, and a voice that seemed so effortless.
Meanwhile, my process has been⦠scattered. (ADHD, Iām looking at you. š)
Iāve questioned myself more times than I can count. Changed my mind. Started things. Pivoted. Wondered if I was even doing this āright.ā
But when I really stop and think about whatās helped me grow the most, it hasnāt been another training, another certification, or the perfect business strategy.
Itās been people.
Women who have shown up to my events.
Women whoāve grabbed coffee with me.
Women whoāve shared ideas, opened doors, collaborated, encouraged me, or simply looked at me and said, āMe too.ā
That has meant more to me than I can explain.
Itās taken this big, scary dream of building something on my own and made me feel seen. Held. Safe enough to keep going.
We hear so much about networking, but I honestly think what so many of us are really craving is community.
A place where we donāt have to have it all figured out.
A place where we can celebrate each other without competition.
A place where sharing ideas feels natural instead of scarce.
A place where weāre reminded that weāre not meant to do this alone.
Thatās the heart behind Illuminate.
Not another networking event.
A space for women entrepreneurs to slow down, connect, and hopefully leave feeling a little more grounded, inspired, and supported than when they walked in.

Iād genuinely love to hear from youā¦
