Updated Postpartum Doula Availability: As my girls and I enter our 3rd ‘grief season’ I have taken on very limited postpartum doula clients this fall/winter. If you’re interested in postpartum support in 2026, please reach out and I can put you on my list to check in with closer to. After a long pause, I’m happy to announce that I will slowly be transitioning back to Doula Support. 👩‍🍼I anticipated returning much sooner, but widowhood and solo-parent life had other ideas.

The support that I offer and the way I manage my doula work will look a little different, as my life has completely changed in the past 2+ years. At this time I will be taking on a limited number of postpartum families from April - August 2025. For now I am able to offer daytime and evening support.

Something that was unique about my Postpartum Support when I started Serephina Doula Support was that it was available for the whole 1st year of your child’s life. Working with families for almost 15 years as a RECE, I understand that the support you need postpartum doesn’t end at the 6 week mark. This is something I am happy to continue to offer as I get back into this work.

It’s finally time for an update.

First, I’d just like to say from the bottom of my heart thank you ❤️. Thank you for all of the kind words, loving thoughts, support and understanding you’ve sent my family during this tragic time.

As 2023 approaches, I will continue to do what I have been for the past 3 months: making the best decisions for myself and my girls. Unfortunately, at this time, that means continuing to put a pause on Doula support 💔. I want you to know that I absolutely LOVE supporting you through these moments in your lives that are so important and vulnerable. It’s too important to do before I myself am more healed. I hope that one day soon I’ll be in a place where I’m able to do that again. ❤️

Again, thank you for being here. Thank you for allowing me to be with you during such special moments and times in your lives. Sending you all of my love and a Happy New Year from Alexys, Adeline & I.

I honestly have no idea where the past 2 months went! They were filled with a broken wrist, Auntie visits, trips to the states, lots of movie nights, a very challenging contract, summer camp and working on our house. Today we finally got out to my fav place and enjoyed a very windy walk to the Sea Lion and a day at the beach 🏖 💛 a great start to the long weekend!!
