There are 2454 memorials cited at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery. The first recorded burials happened in the 1910’s, shortly after Cochrane was founded. Welcome to 'My Community Cemetery'!

Timmins Norhtland Monuments serves over 50 cemeteries and memorial grounds in Northeastern Ontario and the James Bay Coast.

Each one is special and unique. In the days ahead, we are going to feature local cemeteries and would love for our followers to make suggestions!

Tonight, I will start with Whitney Cemetery, also known as Deadman's Point... Tucked away on the south east coast of Porcupine Lake. It is flanked by MRCA walking trails and is home to peaceful foggy mornings and the most beautiful sunsets. It was established in 1911 in response to the Fire of 1911.

Thank you to the Legion Branch 070 for involving us, once again, in the installation of a new commemorative plaque at the Iroquois Falls War Memorial. We are proud to have been a part of this ever-evolving project since 2006.
