Since January, I’ve taught how this Astro portal will activate ( for many of us) Changes. These change /experiences could be sudden or perhaps unexpected.

2026, numerology adds up to #1. Last year 2025 ( #9) was about wrapping things up, endings & completion. This Chinese year represents an intense & swift Fire Horse 🐎

For In the Quiet Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Therapy ; (the Studio), the winds of change have become crystal clear & most inevitable.
It’s been 12yrs since i embarked on the journey to teach Yoga, Pranayama, Ayurveda & Meditation.
Eight years ago (2018), I opened at the (current) larger space, Pine South of Kirby.
The challenges of COVID were unexpected & economically an unfortunate experience.
It permanently changed people; their habits, plus so much more.
Evidently, like my yoga centres, In the Quiet became a "not-for-profit" organization.

It has taken a lot of courage, energy & financial resources to maintain the vision. To be a consistent business model ~Timmins, without an income….well!

It is no longer a challenge for me, as I have decided it is time that I honour the need for change. The path was made clear, recently.

I am satisfied that my souls path & purpose was/is never in doubt.

As such In the Quiet: A Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Astral sanctuary will be closing, permanently .

I want to thank all those who supported this beau, rich space, through your devoted practice(s) to find your deeper connection to yourself ~ body, mind & spirit.

Right now, less is more. I’ll take the summer to slow down, spend more time with family & friends.

My personal Yoga Practices & training will take priority, so I can be ready to freelance (teach) in the fall. Stay Tuned.

Time passes quickly for us all & life must moves forward.

‘Be sure to do the best with what you have’ Aum Shanti ~ Peace 🕉️ 💕 🕯️

QoL, (aka Quality or Life)

It is well-known that specific awareness training, such as Yoga § Feldenkrais lessons, as well & strength training - especially for women - are associated with improved quality of life (QoL).

Meta-analysis found that over 66% of women in live exercise groups report better outcomes than those receiving basic standard care alone.

Moving right along…This weeks practices focuses on two subtle energy channels that flow up the spine from the tailbone: ida and pingala

For many of us, there’s been a feeling of being constantly “on,”. And, this means little time to process the fatigue, sorrow, stress, &/or anxiety that we may feel on behalf of ourselves & others. This practice creates space for you to digest emotions & release what's no longer serving you, & supports your heart, adrenals, hips, & digestive system. Self-care, guided under the gaze of this March Full Moon.

A teacher recently wrote: "Hold me tight and tell me everything is going to be okay." She was eluding to the world stage, as a yoga therapist. A song should be written with those lyrics -me.

Indeed many people, cultures & nations around the world are really craving stability & certainty. Hence, the intolerance for un-truth, seems at an all-time low.

So many people are anxious, sleepless & wired up on the ‘Net’. It is any wonder Earth & its inhabitants feel these uncertain times ? Too many live are scared, frozen /petrified.

Everyday, as I get go my space & on my mat the wheel of fortune spins. It is In The Quiet where my physical being & spirit can breathe & refresh. Especially after moving asanas, reflection & meditation. Practicing yoga has been where I reset my nervous system, these past 40+ years. Every time things seem heavy, or drained, I re-pose & re-store my energy. My hope for you all is that you too can find time for yourself, as a living being to move & breathe deeply.

Through difficult times, we can navigate the murky waters. Once crossed, we move on & forward.

May harmony be restored to all of humanity. Let’s have hope the difficult times can end soon.

Hang onto Hope! LCP

2025 is winding down - endings to new beginnings & new hope. Please feel free to join us every Monday In the Quiet: Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Astral MAYA.

In our busy lives, our awareness - yoga practices need not turn into another ‘to-do list’. Our time on the mat should not simply be a series of poses we check off…..as Done!

It was said, that Yoga postures can be thought of like speed bumps which, meant to slow us down.
The Asana / postures are not the Yoga/ union. The bottom line is; asana is more like a residue or sediment that lingers in the body & mind to creating balance & union.

Gentle Somatic Yoga helps us tune into what our body is sensing, perceiving, gliding with fluidity, not robotic or tense.
When we are tight or rigidly move, we promote additional restriction & what can this teach us?
However, when we start thinking about movement training - rather than isolated muscle training, - we become Yoga. The true heart of yoga is to become more relaxed, as we should be.

Stress impacts us in many ways….& it is important that we manage it. Having an over-stimulated mind, & nervous system can also affects our gut health.

This weeks practices will be a (mainly) a Yin session. This i designed to engage the Vagus nerve, so we rest & digest better. Because, a well-functioning gut-brain connection contributes to better mental and physical health. By incorporating practices into your routine, will can nurture this vital connection between your brain and gut for a happier and healthier you. In the Quiet: Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Astral MAYA

Every Monday, in Timmins @ In the Quiet Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Ashrama.

Your 6pm offer > is to Wind Down the day with yoga.

Did you know, there are foundational moral and ethical guidelines for a yoga practice? They are called the Yamas (Restraints) & Nyamas (Observances)

The theme for this week is on the concept of ‘Ahimsa’. Ahimsa is the 1st of 5 Yama’s or acts we can take. It’s meaning; "Non-violence non-harming (in thought, word, and deed)"

Know that we can clear the air, so to speak because you deserve & are worthy of love, always.

Please contact us to book our mat or for more information.

Whoever _can come_ please let me know - privately. 🧘🎶🩵😚

Tomorrow is the darkest the moon will be for this month & In the Quiet Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Ashrama our practices continue.

Diwali, or the Indian Festival of Lights is celebrated in honour the power of a small light to hold its own against the dark. It takes place on the darkest night of the year.

Traditionally, seven lamps lit and small footprints, representing Goddess Lakshmi are placed at the door. These lights are said to reflect the seven stars of Kṛttikā—the Pleiades—the constellation that gives this month its name (Vedic Kartika)

Linked to the stars are seven wheels or energy centres, known as the chakra system of the body.

Connecting us between the stars & the world below is at the heart of the Vedas. That which is above, is the same as that which is below.
As taught in Ayurveda, the universe & the body share the same design.

The tale of Lakshmi says, that "when she enters the home, she enters the body, rising through the seven lights to awaken what’s been asleep inside us."

As we shift into this new season, my wish for you is that you will open your hearts to new possibilities & deep healing.

Someone once said: "The spark of a single match, once lit, changes the darkness forever." Shine on my diamond ♦️ 💎 💍 Yogi’s
